Discover Our Story
RustiK is located in the heart of downtown Orangeville, serving up local dishes and farm fresh fare. The bistro was inspired by the owner, Brett’s love of food and the relationships she formed with the local farmers and suppliers. RustiK captures what it means to be part of an entity by keeping food locally authentic which brings the feeling of togetherness to the dining room and to each dish served.

ADAM LUSK
Our Head Chef
Born and raised in Orangeville, Adam Lusk has always been passionate about food. After a brief time at the University of Guelph majoring in Biomedical Toxicology, Adam enrolled in the culinary arts program at George Brown. With the support of his wife, Brianna, he has not looked back.
Culinary school gave Adam the opportunity to work in different restaurant settings, allowing him to broaden his experience and cultivate his skills. He made his way to RustiK in 2017, where he had worked as a dishwasher at age 16.
Adam's philosophy is to focus on using local fresh and quality ingredients, letting the flavours speak for themselves to create delicious food for everyone who comes to his table.
Born in Alberta, restaurateur Brett Jaggard always had a passion for food. Growing up with parents in the airline industry allowed her to travel extensively and immerse herself in culinary experiences around the world.
After moving to Orangeville in 1989, she quickly realized that there was nowhere else on Earth that could compare to the feeling of community the town gave her. Brett wanted to illustrate that sense of home and decided she’d one day own her a restaurant dedicated to doing just that.
RustiK is her love letter to Orangeville and Brett is always excited to offer people a taste of the town she loves.
